NZTM joins forces with Sirecam
New Zealand Thoroughbred Marketing and Australian based Thoroughbred media company Sirecam have entered into a formal relationship to showcase New Zealand yearlings to a world-wide audience.
NZTM Executive Manager Adrian Clark said "with the advancements to modern technology, we are always striving to reach a broader global audience and through our strategic partnership with Sirecam, we believe we are very well equipped to achieve this. Sirecam has been filming yearlings both here in the southern hemisphere and now in the northern hemisphere for the past five years and proven themselves as a market leader in their field."
Sirecam operations manager David Cameron commented "At the end of the day, our agenda is to showcase yearlings in their best possible light to assist vendors in maximizing their potential in the sales ring. The synergies between NZTM and ourselves provide the perfect platform to deliver a win-win result for all stakeholders in the industry at a cost effective price."
The partnership will see the two companies collaborate to deliver a more holistic product where NZTM will voice the yearling audio and Sirecam will contribute funds back to NZTM for every horse filmed.
Cameron said "there's not many major Australian races that NZ-bred horses haven't won or competed strongly in of late, so it speaks volumes for the Kiwi breeding industry. By continuing to showcase these horses to a world-wide audience, the opportunity will be there to take NZ-bred horses into new and exciting markets ensuring the New Zealand breeding industry continues to prosper."
Clark said "in these times of economic uncertainty, NZTM will continue to strive to maximize opportunities for our stakeholders and we believe our relationship with Sirecam will go a long way to delivering these objectives."

About Sirecam
Since its inception in 2003, Sirecam has become the preferred supplier of online video footage to the Thoroughbred Breeding Industry in Australasia.
Sirecam films yearlings for every major sale throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 2008, an average of more than 75% of each catalogue was filmed. Furthermore, Sirecam filmed at least 80% of the top 20 lots at each major sale.
Stallions are another major part of Sirecam. More than 100 stallions have been filmed in 2008 and these will be a part of a compilation stallion DVD that will be sent to all registered Broodmare owners in Australia.
Sirecam offer a number of end-to-end multimedia solutions for the thoroughbred industry and this was recently highlighted by the successful production of the Divine Madonna DVD. In conjunction with Widden Stud and trainer Mark Kavanagh, Sirecam produced a promotional DVD that was sent out to many potential buyers before her sale at the Gold Coast Magic Millions Broodmare sale. Her price of $2.7million was the highest recorded at a Magic Millions sale eclipsing the previous record of $2.2million. Click here to see the video.
